Sam Sulek is something different. Out of nowhere comes this massive, humble, and extremely authentic guy who becomes an internet sensation.
There is a lot to say about Sam, and I don't know why, but he keeps on showing up everywhere: Tiktok, Facebook reels, Instagram reels. I enjoy his content and have been doing some digging on him.
This man has literally broken every YouTube rule and yet went viral!
I'm about to tell you everything there is to know about Sam Sulek. His diet, height, workout plan, where he is, his background if he is natty or not and why so many of his fans are worried about him.
Who Is Sam Sulek?
Sam Sulek is a 22-year-old fitness YouTuber and bodybuilder (born February 7, 2002). He is on a mission to grow as much muscle mass as he possibly can while broadcasting it on his social media channels.
He grew his YouTube account from 8,000 subscribers to 2.26 million over only two months and went viral. But there is something different about Sam compared to most fitness influencers. He is all about raw footage, no cutting, special effects or anything fancy – massive respect.
He is a humble, honest and frankly, awkward guy who is just telling his story. His physique is truly impressive, but he showcases it in a different way than any other YouTuber.
Sam Sulek is only being himself in front of the camera, and that is probably why people love him so much.
Sam comes from humble beginnings, he is American with Polish and Slovakian Roots and has a background in swimming and gymnastics. This is a fact that shocks many due to his size but based on the videos that I've seen of him; he was a pretty damn good swimmer.
This internet sensation is still in college: Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, studying Mechanical Engineering.

Sam Sulek Age, Height, and Weight
We've been talking about Sam the YouTuber now for a while, but he is way more than that.
The most remarkable aspects about Sam Sulek lie in his physical statistics: his age, height, and weight.
Standing tall at 5’11” and celerbrated his 22nd birthday in February 2024, Sam is undeniably still a kid. Despite his age, he boasts an impressive amount of muscle mass and maintains relatively low body fat levels, even during his bulking phase (which was a crazy bulk btw).
During his bulking efforts to increase size, Sam Sulek tips the scale at around 240 lbs. It's uncommon to encounter younger bodybuilders with such substantial muscle mass. Let's walk through Sam's bulking phase. This one contains way more chocolate than my bulking diet, let me tell you that!
Sam Sulek’s Bulking Diet
This is where many dietists and fitness experts (me included) are concerned about Sam Sulek's overall health. His bulking diet is extreme and dangerous.
He doesn't follow the typical diet of a bodybuilder with tuna, rice, broccoli, protein shakes and gainers – this man eats whatever he wants just to absorb as many calories as he can.
One can say that he eats like any obese person would. Does that sound like a healthy diet? You guessed right, its not.
So, let's have a look at how a typical bulking diet day can look for Sam Sulek:
Meal one:
Chocolate milk and cereals with milk.
Meal two:
Five Guys: Two burgers, fries and a milkshake
Meal three:
Four cups of milk and six donuts
Meal four:
Protein shake
As you can see, this is not your regular bodybuilder diet but more of an extremely dirty bulk. Sam is going for 5000 calories a day with this meal and seems to not care about anything less than the calories. No macronutrient thinking or food sources – just junk food.
Notable Side Effects From Sam Suleks Bulk Diet
Many have criticized this idea of bulk, meaning it is far from safe. Sam is still young and so the side effects are not as obvious as they would be with somebody in my age. Sam has not touched upon the side effects in his videos, but what we can tell is:
- Sulek struggles to pose for more than 2 seconds as he gets hard to breathe
- He is winded by just walking around in the grocery shop
I just want to be very frank with you here. This is not natural and not recommended by any expert.
Just look what happened to Joe Lindner when he was only 30 years of age. And this is exactly what many of Sam Suleks fans are concerned about his health.
Is Sam Sulek Natural?
The question of whether Sam Sulek is a natural bodybuilder remains unanswered as he hasn't addressed steroid usage directly. However, weighing well over 240 lbs, predominantly in muscle mass, raises suspicions. If you ask me, I'll give you the same answer as Ronnie Coleman did: There is nothing natural about him.
Achieving such a level of bodybuilding always involves the use of performance-enhancing drugs. And I'm pretty sure he is using one or many of bulking steroids on top of that diet.
Observations of Sam's massive and shredded physique despite a less-than-optimal diet, along with reports of acne and consistent shortness of breath (common side effects of steroid usage), fuel speculation that he may not be natural. This is, until now, a topic that Sam has not touched upon yet in his videos – and he has not declined it.
Sam Sulek Training And Workouts
Natty or not, Sam Sulek's workout routine is truly impressive. He is very old school with his methods and goes for heavy-intensity and long rests between the sets. He wants to hit each muscle group twice a week.
Sam Sulek's workout routine is straightforward: he dedicates specific days to different muscle groups like chest, back, legs, and arms. Interestingly, he doesn't have a set day for shoulders; instead, he incorporates shoulder exercises whenever he feels it's appropriate, like doing lateral raises during his chest workout. The same goes with abs.
During each training session, Sam focuses on 4-6 exercises per muscle group, but he pushes himself to the limit, ensuring he exhausts each body part before leaving the gym. He aims for sets of 8-12 reps, prioritizing a strong mind-muscle connection throughout the movement and giving his all on every set.
This is a very good and proven method used by all the legends from Arnold to Ronnie – a mix of isolation movements and compound throughout the workout.
